Saudi Transport Minister Saleh Al Jasser said that Saudi Arabian ports have made significant progress in the ranking of container handling efficiency in the world, King Abdullah Port is ranked first in the world, Jeddah Port has moved to eighth in the world, and King Abdulaziz Port has moved from 98th to 14th in the world.
The minister added in an interview with Al Arabiya today Sunday that the system has undergone a major transformation since the launch of the national strategy for transport and logistics services, and the benefits of some of these reforms are now being reaped.
He explained that the most notable of these changes are taking place in several areas, most notably in legislation and infrastructure.
