Arsenal have won the North London derby in their favor, beating host and neighbor Tottenham Hotspur with two unanswered goals on Matchday 20 of the English Premier League today, Sunday.

Arsenal’s brace, Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris of France scored by mistake in the 14th minute and Norwegian playmaker Martin Odegaard in the 36th minute.

With this result, Arsenal increased their lead to 47 points, cementing their position at the top of the table as they were eight points clear of their closest challenger Manchester City, the defending champions.

On the other hand, Tottenham’s balance sheet froze in fifth place with 33 points.
