The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan announced the arrest of a citizen who tried to bring 93 kg of drugs into the country by transporting them from Iran by sea.

The statement of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan says: “A resident of the Masali district, Rafik Agayev, was detained on charges of drug trafficking after 93 kg of drugs were found in his car, including 74 kg of marijuana, 11 kg of opium. , 8 kg of methamphetamine and 30 narcotic tablets.

She added that the drugs were delivered to Azerbaijan by sea in plastic barrels.
