Barcelona advanced to the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey by beating their guest Real Sociedad with a no-response goal in a match that brought them together in the quarter-finals on Wednesday.

The Catalan team owes this victory and qualification to their French flank, Ousmane Dembele, who scored the only goal of the match in the 52nd minute.

Sociedad ended the match with ten players from the 40th minute after his player Bryce Mendez was sacked due to his forcible intervention in the leg of Barcelona captain Sergio Busquets.
