French striker Karim Benzema was in the starting line-up for his Real Madrid team, which will take on Athletic Bilbao at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium on Sunday in the Spanish league final.
Benzema’s presence in the squad comes just hours after Real Madrid announced his departure after 14 seasons with him.
