A group of vandals desecrated a mosque in northwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina, drawing widespread criticism among Bosnian Muslims.

According to the local assembly of the Islamic Union, the walls of the Dasnitsa mosque in the city of Bielina were poured over by unknown persons.

The assembly strongly condemned the provocation and called on the local police to find those responsible.

The head of the assembly, Emir Muslich, said that they would not be silent.

“This is not the first attack on Muslims. Therefore, we want the police to find out who did it,” Muslik said.
