Brighton striker Leandro Trossar will miss his team’s match against Liverpool on Saturday in the English Premier League for disciplinary reasons.

Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi said Trossard left training last week without permission after being told he would not start in the FA Cup tie against Middlesbrough last Saturday.

He added: “Leandro is not on the list of players for the match against Liverpool. He left (training) without telling me anything. And that’s not good. like.”

De Zerby also said he was open to reconciliation with Trossard, one of Brighton’s best players.

There are reports of Trossard leaving Brighton during this winter transfer window.
