Today, Sunday, Qatari club Al Sadd announced the departure of their Spanish star Santi Cazorla after three seasons the former Arsenal star spent with Al Zayim.

Al-Sadd published a video clip on their social media platforms that highlights the most famous stations of Cazorla with the team, accompanied by the phrase: “Thank you Santi for three years of football fun.”

The 38-year-old Cazorla won the Qatari League title twice, twice the Emir Cup and once the Qatar Cup, defending the colors of Al-Sadd.

The player, who joined Al Sadd from Spain’s Villarreal in August 2020, also won the Qatari League Player of the Year for the 2020-2021 season.

In his twenty-year career, the Spaniard has moved from Villarreal, Recreativo and Malaga in Spain and Arsenal to England, and most recently from Qatari side Al Sadd.
