Reuters reported today, Monday, citing informed sources, that Chinese President Xi Jinping intends to visit Moscow next week.

The agency said the Chinese president will meet with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, without giving details.

Putin invited Xi to visit Moscow during a video call late last year, noting that the visit would show the world the strength of Russia-China relations and be the year’s main political event in bilateral relations.
