Copa del Rey draw ends with ‘incendiary derby’

The draw for the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey, which took place today, on Friday, ended with a derby between Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid.

The derby match between Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid will take place at the stronghold of the royal team on Tuesday, January 24, at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

So far Barcelona have drawn with Real Sociedad and the match between the two will take place next Wednesday at Spotify Camp Nou.

The result of the draw for the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey was as follows:

Real Madrid – Atletico Madrid

Osasuna – Seville

Valencia – Athletic Bilbao

Barcelona – Real Sociedad.

The quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey will be held in one round, as they will be played at the stadium of the team whose name was mentioned in the first draw.
