Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo is going through a difficult period while participating with his country in the World Cup finals, which are now taking place in Qatar and will last until December 18.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s absence from Portugal’s starting lineup for last Tuesday’s match against Switzerland in the 2022 World Cup final in Qatar has sparked much controversy and anger, according to press reports.

According to the Toto Mercato Web website, the Abula newspaper conducted an opinion poll about Ronaldo in recent hours, and the results were disappointing for the Madeira Rocket.

The poll showed that 70% of fans want to see Ronaldo outside the starting lineup for the next match against Morocco.

The vote showed that 93.9% agreed to pay young striker Gonçal Ramos instead of Ronaldo in the match against Morocco, as they did in the match against Switzerland.

21-year-old Goncalo Ramos scored the first hat-trick in the current 2022 World Cup against Switzerland, contributing to Portugal’s crushing 6-1 victory.

Notably, a Portuguese newspaper conducted the same poll before the match against Switzerland, and 70% of the participants demanded that Ronaldo not be involved.
