Croatian President Zoran Milanovic criticized European countries that decided to send more weapons to Ukraine.
“A treaty war against a nuclear power like Russia cannot be won. Europe is in danger of hysteria and hatred,” Milanovic told Croatian media on Tuesday during his visit to Petrinja.
He said that Russia is an extremely dangerous country, and Europe, which is preparing to send weapons to Ukraine, is in danger.
Regarding the war between Moscow and Kyiv and the similarities between Crimea and Kosovo, Milanovic said that the international community and Croatia had annexed Kosovo and taken it from Serbia.
“We and the international community have done it,” he said. “Unfortunately, this is a painful fact and a danger. We annexed Kosovo. We and the international community. It was taken from Serbia. Who did it but us? Have we recognized Kosovo? This is not an annexation, this is an expropriation. What is it called “Extraction”.
“In the same way, Crimea will never be Ukraine again. Leading German generals are talking about this,” he added.
Kosovo declared its independence from Serbia in 2008, and most UN member states, including the US, UK, France, Germany and Turkey, have recognized it as a separate autonomous country from its neighbour. But Belgrade continues to consider it its territory.
