The National Institute of Geophysics of Morocco said that on Sunday morning, an earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale was registered in the province of Al Hoceima in the north of the country.
The institute said the jolt, which was centered in the Al-Naqur community of Al Hoceima province at a depth of 18 km, occurred around 8 a.m. local time.
In Georgia, two earthquakes measuring 4.4 and 3.3 on the Richter scale occurred at noon on Sunday with an interval of 14 minutes near the western city of Ozorgti, and no damage or loss was reported.
Last night, Saturday, a 4.3 magnitude earthquake was also recorded in western Georgia.
