The Egyptian Cabinet announced that the value of goods released for various import purposes between January 1 and 10 amounted to more than $1.5 billion through various systems, whether through pre-registration of shipments by ACI or from outside.

The Cabinet added in today’s statement on Wednesday that the value of goods released for industrial purposes amounted to more than $613 million, including food products, primary or industrial industrial needs, and other spare parts and parts needed for this important sector.

He explained that under AQI’s pre-registration system, the value of commodities released between January 1 and 10, including corn, was more than $40.7 million.

The value of soybeans released during this period was about $28 million, and that of pharmaceutical chemicals was $56 million.

Concluding the review of the report, the Prime Minister reiterated the continuation of cooperation and coordination between the various interested bodies regarding the acceleration of procedures for the customs release of various goods and goods in Egyptian ports. Aiming to provide various products in local markets.

It should be noted that about $7 billion worth of goods were released in December last year, bringing the total value of what has been released from the beginning of December to the present to about $8.5 billion.
