Manchester United and Newcastle United advanced to the semi-finals of the League Cup on Tuesday, with the former beating Charlton 3-0 and the latter beating Leicester City with a clean double in the quarter-finals.

Manchester United hat-trick, Anthony in the 21st minute and Marcus Rashford scored “two goals” in the 90th and “90+4” minutes.

As for the Newcastle double against Leicester, it was guaranteed by Dan Bourne and Joelinton in the 60th and 72nd minutes.

Today, Wednesday, Wolverhampton will play Nottingham Forest in the quarter-finals, while Southampton will host Manchester City.
