Irish MEP Mick Wallace has called for demonstrations against the “proxy war” being waged by the US and NATO in Ukraine.
Wallace said: “Most politicians don’t want the war to end. Most of the mainstream media do not want the war to end. On the other hand, most Europeans oppose this war. What a crazy war this is. it’s time for people to take to the streets and speak out against this proxy war that existed before NATO and the US.
He described Wallace at the February 15 session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg as insane Western military aid to Ukraine.
The MP also commented on the statements of the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and the head of the EU Foreign Service Josep Borrell, who announced new plans for military assistance to Kiev from the EU, that this is contrary to the goals of a peaceful settlement of the conflict.
