Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said that Volodymyr Zelensky does not suit the West, especially the United States, because of the failure of the counterattack, and therefore they are already looking for a replacement for him.
Azarov added in the publication: “Already today, in fact, the Western press is openly saying that the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian troops is nothing but suicide and a complete failure for the West. Thus, all failures at the front will be a heavy burden.” on the shoulders of Zelensky, which frankly does not suit the United States. In order to bring Ukraine to peace negotiations, the West is now desperately looking for a candidate.
Azarov pointed out that the US clearly wants to freeze the conflict, although they deny it. However, the West needs to recover from the loss of military equipment, rebuild logistics and maintain at least the previous level of arms and ammunition supplies.
According to him, the United States has more confidence in the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko. He is already on the list to replace Zelensky, as is Verkhovna Rada speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk.
“It is also strange that the wife of the president, Elena Zelenskaya, is preparing for the position of figurehead,” Azarov added.
The counter-offensive, which has long been talked about in Kyiv, began on June 4 in the southern directions of Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Artemovsk, and Kyiv deployed combat brigades trained by NATO specialists and armed with Western equipment.
