According to the Spanish newspaper AS, the International Federation of Football Associations FIFA has notified Real Madrid, the holder of the European Champions League title, that the tournament will be held from 1 to 11 February in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi. .
The newspaper added that the tournament in the next issue will be played as usual with the participation of Real Madrid and Brazilian Flamengo, champions of South America, Moroccan Widad (African champions), American Seattle Sounders (North American champions) and Auckland “. City (Oceania Champion) along with representatives from the host country and the Asian continent.
So far, the Asian champion has not been determined, as the Champions League competitions on the yellow continent are still ongoing.
The Asian continent has yet to announce its representative for the Club World Cup due to the decision to move the group stage of the West Asian clubs to February next year as the Japanese team Urawa reached the final from the East Asian groups.
