Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said that US policy undermines peace and stability in the Middle East and fuels the crisis in Ukraine.
An Iranian diplomat wrote on his Twitter account: “One of the results of the American intervention is the violation of peace in the region of the Near and Middle East, as well as fomenting the fire of war in Ukraine.”
Abdollahian also urged the White House to stop making “hypocritical statements that contradict reality.”
Earlier, the Iranian Foreign Minister confirmed that the Iranian side considers the provocative actions of NATO and a number of Western countries to be the “main cause” of the crisis in Ukraine.
In an interview with the Turkish TRT channel, he said: “The military actions in Ukraine seem to be complex events … Some in the West believe that this is a new chapter in the history of international relations. crisis, our position was clear and transparent… We consider the provocative actions of NATO and a number of European countries to be the main reason for the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine.
Western countries have accused Iran of exporting their drones to Russia for use in the fighting in Ukraine, and Moscow and Tehran have categorically denied these accusations.
