The commander of the Air Defense Forces of the Iranian army, Brigadier General Ali Reza Sabahi Fard, considered that the islands in the Persian Gulf, disputed with the UAE, are “an integral part of the pure (Iranian) homeland.”
During his visit to the air defense units on the islands of Greater Tunb, Abu Musa, Siri and Kish, Brigadier General Sabahi Fard inspected the surveillance units, radar and missile systems located on these islands and assessed the operational capabilities and readiness of the forces.
Brigadier General Sabahi Fard explained: “The Iranian islands in the Persian Gulf are part of the homeland and are inseparable from the pure soil of our country, and the presence of armed forces fighters on these islands and at this historical stage is actually a continuation of the love and affection of our ancestors for every inch of its land. “Motherland, and we will continue this love with great dedication and determination.”
