Today, Wednesday, the Department of Seismology of the Israel Geological Institute published a map of the epicenter of the earthquake that occurred in the Mediterranean Sea.
The seismology department of the Israel Geological Institute said the tremor hit the Upper Galilee and Nablus regions and reached 4.5 degrees on the Richter scale, and its source is located 81 km northwest of Nahariya.
For its part, the European Mediterranean Seismological Institute reported that an earthquake measuring 4.2 and lasting 10 seconds occurred at a depth of 18 km in the eastern Mediterranean Sea.
And an RT correspondent in Palestine said that some time ago, some citizens felt the earthquake. Sources also said that the tremors were also felt by residents of the city of Sidon in Lebanon.
