The Japanese authorities have recorded a new sharp increase in deaths from the Corona virus, as the number of deaths in January reached more than 8.1 thousand people.
These monthly losses are a record for Japan since the start of the pandemic.
According to the Japanese Ministry of Health, 326 deaths from the Corona virus were recorded on Sunday, bringing the total number of deaths in the first 22 days of January this year to 8,103 deaths.
For the first time since the start of the pandemic, the monthly death toll from coronavirus has exceeded 8,000, of which 5,000 have died in the last 12 days.
The Japanese authorities have recorded a sharp increase in deaths from the Corona virus since the beginning of December.
Thus, the total number of deaths in Japan since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic has reached 65.4 thousand people.
