quotes Singapore Strait Times According to the Mufti of Singapore, Nazir ad-Din Muhammad Nasser, who said: “Based on astronomical calculations and the absence of the appearance of the crescent of the month of Dhul-Hijja at sunset on Sunday, then the 20th of this June will be the beginning of the month of Dhul-Hijja, and the twenty-ninth of June will coincide with the first day of Eid al-Adha.”

And earlier, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced that June 28 is the date of Eid al-Adha for 2023, noting that Monday is the start of Dhu al-Hijja, corresponding to June 19, 2023, provided that the following Tuesday is the day of Waqf Arafat.
