The representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry said that a temporary dialogue took place between the Iranian Foreign Minister and the Egyptian President on the sidelines of the Baghdad-2 summit in Jordan, and it was a positive dialogue that expressed the desire of both sides for dialogue.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani added: “Bilateral relations between the two countries continue, taking care of interests, and there are no problems between the two countries to continue the dialogue … The Iraqi Prime Minister also welcomed the mediation of the meetings. between Iran and Egypt”, and we welcome these initiatives and any positive steps that lead to the creation of a positive atmosphere with the countries of the region, especially with Egypt.
Kanaani noted that there were consular negotiations between the two countries and it was agreed that they would continue to resolve outstanding issues between the two sides.
