North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has led the development of a new intercontinental ballistic missile capable of delivering a counter-nuclear strike and the production of a large number of tactical nuclear weapons.
Reuters reported, citing North Korea’s Central News Agency, that Kim Jong-un also ordered 600mm rocket launchers and indicated that the missile platforms could be used to launch tactical nuclear missiles.
Pyongyang also plans to launch a military satellite soon.
The North Korean leader instructed to continue strengthening the country’s defense capability in connection with the “provocative atmosphere” on the Korean Peninsula.
