Appointment of Khaled Al-Shamlan as CEO
Kuwait Finance House has announced the appointment of Khaled Al-Shamlan as the CEO of the bank, effective from today. He will be succeeding Issa Al-Rashud, who has been serving as the acting CEO of the group.
Experience of Khaled Al-Shamlan
Khaled Al-Shamlan has been with Kuwait Finance House since March 2022, serving as the Head of Retail Banking and Group Private Banking.
Preliminary Agreement for Bank Merger
It is worth noting that KFH recently announced a preliminary agreement with Al-Ahli United Bank of Kuwait for a merger. The two banks will merge through consolidation, with KFH being the merging company and Ahli United Bank being the merged company.
