The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait expressed strong dissatisfaction and rejection of the actions of some Egyptian security forces who beat Kuwaiti students studying in the city of Alexandria.

In a video circulated, a group of Egyptian guards beat two Kuwaiti students and knocked them to the ground before taking them to another location.
For its part, the Kuwaiti embassy in Cairo said, according to Egyptian media, that it was following a security investigation with the Kuwaiti cultural attache in Alexandria over a quarrel between a group of Kuwaiti students at a commercial complex in Alexandria.
The Kuwaiti Embassy in Cairo added that the video circulated on social media is of an altercation between a group of Kuwaiti students studying in Alexandria that resulted in minor injuries, leading to security forces intervening to resolve it.
The Embassy expressed dissatisfaction with such actions of some Kuwaiti students, urging them to comply with the laws and regulations in force in Egypt.
And the Egyptian media reported, citing a security source, that the procedures for the departure of all Kuwaiti students were completed by the security forces in Alexandria.
