Kuwait’s oil minister, Badr al-Mulla, confirmed today, Thursday, his country’s full commitment to the decisions taken by the OPEC+ group, which guarantee the security of supplies in world energy markets.
In a statement released by the Oil Ministry after Minister Al-Mulla led the delegation of the State of Kuwait to the 47th meeting of the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC), Al-Mulla praised the OPEC+ decision. group to continue the agreement to reduce production, as it continues to operate until the end of this year.
He stressed that this decision will maintain the balance and stability of the market, stressing that OPEC+ is closely monitoring oil market data and global economic data in the interests of market stability.
It is worth noting that the countries participating in the OPEC + agreement agreed during a direct meeting in Vienna on October 5 to reduce oil production by two million barrels per day starting in November, and the deal was extended until the end of 2023.
