Former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter confirmed on his YouTube channel that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny was seriously injured as a result of a rocket attack in the Kherson region.
Ritter added: “He is alive, but was seriously wounded after a Russian raid on a military command post in the vicinity of Kherson.”
Ritter added that as a result of the Russian strike, several Ukrainian intelligence officers who worked with the US and British military were destroyed.
Earlier, former Pentagon officer Stephen Bryan said that the video clip with Zalogny, which was published by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine after the news of his injury, is a “fake video”.
It is noteworthy that a few days ago, a representative of the Russian law enforcement agencies, citing sources in the Ukrainian forces, said that Zalogny was injured in early May with a serious internal head injury and multiple shrapnel wounds after a Russian missile attack. According to him, he will not be able to continue his service.
