Oil prices have fallen in trading today, Tuesday, and black gold prices are heading towards fixing a monthly loss of more than 3%, and this is happening ahead of the upcoming meeting of the OPEC + group.
By 13:40 Moscow time, futures for US West Texas Intermediate oil fell 1.37% to $76.83 per barrel.
At the same time, futures for Brent crude fell 1.13% to $83.94 per barrel, according to Bloomberg data.
A ministerial meeting of the OPEC+ group, which includes producers from and outside OPEC, is scheduled this week on February 1, 2023, and the meeting will be held using video technology via the Internet.
Experts expect the group’s joint ministerial review committee to recommend keeping the current oil production policy unchanged.
