French President Emmanuel Macron said on Monday evening that the supply of combat aircraft to Ukraine to increase its ability to withstand Russian forces is “not ruled out”.

Macron, meanwhile, warned of the risk of an escalation in the conflict.

Following the talks he held in The Hague with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, the French President answered the question of the possibility of satisfying Kyiv’s request for combat aircraft: “In principle, nothing is ruled out.”
