Commenting today, Monday, on the visit of US President Joe Biden to Ukraine and his meeting with Vladimir Zelensky, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova urged not to forget “the fate of American projects.”

And Zakharova wrote on the Telegram app: “When you watch footage of Biden with his follower Zelensky in Kyiv, don’t forget the fate of previous American projects.”

In this context, Zakharova mentioned former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, noting that he is “paying the price so that the West does not forget about him.”

Zakharova added: “The fate of Saakashvili, the fate of Guido [المعارض الفنزويلي]This is what awaits everyone who has sold his life to the Americans. Their people curse them. They are forced to pay generously to American lawyers out of the money they earned in America as payment for betraying their country.

Notably, the US president arrived in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv this morning, where he met with Zelensky, promising Ukraine a new $500 million US military aid package, Reuters news agency reported.

The US president said in joint statements with Ukrainian President Zelensky that the package would include more military equipment, including artillery ammunition and more Javelin missiles and howitzers.

For his part, Zelensky confirmed that he spoke with Biden about “long-range weapons and weapons that can be provided to Ukraine, even if they have not previously been supplied.”

In his statements, Biden spoke of the resilience of the Ukrainian resistance as the war enters its second year.

And the US president said: “In a year Kyiv stands, Ukraine stands, freedom stands,” he said.
