Vasily Nebenzya, Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, confirmed that sending Western tanks to Ukraine is pointless.
Nebenzya said during a meeting of the UN Security Council that the supply of several hundred foreign machinery and equipment would help Kyiv, Novosti reports.
The permanent representative of Russia noted that the flow of weapons from Western countries will not stop until “the Ukrainian armed forces go bankrupt on the battlefield.”
Nebenzya revealed that since the beginning of the Russian special operation, the Russian army has managed to destroy more than 7.5 thousand pieces of equipment supplied by the Ukrainian military. “100, 200, 300 new tanks won’t change anything, they claim.”
He noted that, despite the fact that Western countries do not recognize themselves as a party to the conflict in Ukraine, they provide Kyiv with weapons and intelligence, and also send mercenaries and soldiers to help operate the equipment received.
