Rebecca Koffler, a former Pentagon intelligence official, said in an interview with Fox News that she does not rule out the possibility of a Wagnerian element mutiny being linked to NATO.

Koffler pointed out that the American side may have managed to conclude a “deal” with Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the Wagner group.

According to her, Prigozhin is a well-known businessman and head of one of the most effective military companies.

She added: “It is likely that some members of this private military group have been in contact with US or NATO parties and made a deal with them.”

It is noteworthy that the forces of the special security company “Wagner” last night captured the headquarters of the Southern Military District of the Russian Army, located in Rostov-on-Don. Groups of armed people were transferred to the city, checkpoints were set up at the entrances and exits from the city. And all this happened against the backdrop of statements by Prigozhin, in which he claimed that the Russian army bombed the “Wagner” camps with rockets and bombs. The Russian Ministry of Defense, as well as the Russian FSB, denied these claims.

The armed rebellion that took over the world over the past 24 hours and was led by Prigozhin, who chose this fate for himself by leaving Russia, after the mediation of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, has ended.
