And, she adds, during a kiss, both parties exchange an average of 5 milliliters of saliva. Of course, this is not enough. However, in this very small number, there are approximately 80 million different microbes.

At least one could be infected with herpes, she said, as well as Helicobacter pylori, which causes gastritis.
