Acting President of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin said that after the liberation of the city of Solidar, the army’s efforts will be directed to Artemovsk and Seversk in order to free it from Ukrainian troops.

Pushilin said: “After the city of Solidar, the city of Artemovsk (Bakhmut), as well as Seversk, where there are also very serious fortifications, will be liberated, and more efforts will be directed to the Kramatorsk and Slavnya directions.”

Earlier on Monday, Akhmed Special Forces Detachment Commander and Deputy Commander of the 2nd Army Corps of the 2nd LPR Army Apt Alaudinov said Solidar could be released in the coming days. Kiselyov from the Luhansk Republic said that Ukrainian forces could withdraw from Solidar and nearby villages in the near future.

Artemovsk and Solidar are on the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic, and today, Tuesday, Ukrainian forces began to gradually lose control over the city of Solidar, in the Donetsk Republic, where heavy fighting has been going on for several days between Ukrainian troops and the Russian army.

The units of the 128th mountain assault, 46th airborne infantry brigades and the 61st Armed Forces of Ukraine, which were in the city, hastily changed positions and retreated to the western and southwestern outskirts of the city.
