Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi confirmed that the level of foreign exchange reserves in the country is not a cause for concern, noting that “the enemy, by spreading rumors, is trying to distort the facts on this issue.”
Raisi said Thursday in front of a crowd in the southern city of Bushehr, “The Iranian people will frustrate the enemy’s plans in the turmoil in the foreign exchange market,” pointing out that “the enemy wanted to stop the wheel of progress.” in the country and stop the movement of the Iranian people through an unjust ban and numerous threats.”
Raisi explained that the enemies “used the media, economic, political and other fields, thinking that through riots and unrest they could slow down or stop the movement of the Iranian people, but they made a mistake in their calculations.”
He continued: “Today, science and technology in the country have acquired an institutional character, and we have witnessed great achievements in this area.
He praised that the trade balance remained positive and the trade exchange increased by 40 percent, indicating that the enemies were trying to break Iran’s relations with Asian countries, “but Iran’s membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization strengthened these relations.”
