According to a Spanish press report, Real Madrid are planning to sign Liverpool’s Brazilian striker Roberto Firmino during the upcoming summer transfer period to boost the royal team’s attack.

Firmino’s contract with Liverpool expires at the end of the current season, meaning Real Madrid could sign the Brazilian striker on a free transfer next summer, at a cost to him only of the player’s wages.

Real Madrid are looking for a replacement for Frenchman Karim Benzema before the arrival of young Brazilian striker Andrec Felipe in the summer of 2024.

Real Madrid will include Roberto Firmino during the upcoming Summer Mercato, according to Spanish network Defensa Central.

Carlo Ancelotti and Real Madrid officials believe that Firmino will be the perfect replacement for Benzema at Mirengi.

Roberto Firmino’s name has been associated with a move to more than one club this past January, most notably West Ham United and Newcastle United, but Liverpool have insisted on his survival.
