Dubai Deputy Chief of Police Praises Saudi Clubs in Attracting European Players

Introduction

Today, Thursday, Dubai Deputy Chief of Police Dahi Khalfan praised the attractiveness of Saudi clubs for outstanding players from European leagues, noting that the Roshen league today is not inferior to the leagues in Europe.

Importance of Saudi Arabian League

Khalfan said on his page on Platform X (formerly Twitter): “If the clubs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continue to attract foreign players to the club league, this will lead to the emergence of Saudi players who have trained to play with big players. Today, the Saudi Arabian League is no less important than any international league. These frictions with the big players will close the gap between the Saudi players and the international players.”

Recognition of Saudi Teams

The Deputy Police Chief of Dubai added: “Today, the world’s attention is focused on the results of the Saudi teams and their role.”

Dahi Khalfan noted, “Today the stations of the world… are looking for the results of famous players who play in the Saudi Arabian league.”

Immigration of European Players to Saudi Professional Football League

Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo opened the door for the immigration of players from Europe to the Saudi professional football league Roshen by joining Al-Nasr during the last winter transfer period after his contract with Manchester United was terminated.

This summer Mercato 2023 has seen many big deals come to fruition as many stars have joined Saudi clubs such as Brazilian player Neymar and compatriot Malcolm and Portuguese Robin Beavis to Al Hilal, as well as Brazilian Roberto Firmino and the Algerian Riyad Mahrez in the ranks of Al-Ahli, and the Senegalese Sadio Mane, and the Croat Marcelo Brozovic for the victory, and the Frenchman Karim Benzema for Ittihad Jeddah, and others.
