According to the memorandum, Saudi Coffee Company will continue what Aramco started through citizenship initiatives to support the coffee industry, train farmers in the Jizan and Asir regions and expand this initiative.
The MoU aims to provide full support for the coffee product value chain, as well as providing advice that promotes the best practices of the Al Dair Province Coffee Development Center, which Aramco is working to establish in collaboration with the Mountain Development Authority. and the Jazan Construction Authority, which serves the region’s farmers in addition to expanding the coffee market locally and exporting it to global markets, according to the Saudi press agency SPA.
This collaboration with the Saudi Coffee Company represents an important turning point in Aramco’s citizenship initiatives, which continues to make a significant contribution to supporting small business initiatives, including a program launched in 2016 to train coffee farmers in the latest sustainable farming practices. for coffee production in the Jazan region and to improve the methods of production and marketing of coffee, which is part of the economy and heritage of Saudi Arabia.
