Jordanian parliament speaker Ahmed Al-Safadi announced that major projects will be implemented between his country and Egypt in the coming period.
Al-Safadi added in an interview with Cairo News that there will be an economic exchange between Egypt and Jordan in addition to the trade exchange that Jordan seeks with all Arab countries.
He said that there are complementary relations between Egypt, Jordan and Iraq and that major projects with Egypt will be implemented in the coming period.
Regarding what is happening in the region, Safadi said that the political situation in the Arab region has been tense for 50 years, and that Iraq, Syria and Lebanon are countries that are going through difficult life circumstances.
He pointed out that terrorism “is one of the most serious challenges facing the Arab countries and the region as a whole”, and that “we must cooperate to improve the economic situation, as well as cooperate in the fight against terrorism and drug trafficking, since all these files are most dangerous in our Arab region.”
