Wall Street opened higher today, Thursday, as bank stocks surged after major banks passed the Federal Reserve’s annual stress test, while economic data showed the US economy is resilient in the face of massive interest rate hikes.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 1.91 points, or 0.01%, to 33,854.57.
The Standard & Poor’s 500 index opened up 1.92 points, or 0.04%, to 4,374.94, according to Reuters.
The Nasdaq Composite rose 0.61 points, or 0.01%, to 13,592.36.
