On Wednesday, the Central Bank of Syria issued a circular outlining the amounts allowed for transfers between Syrian governorates accompanied by a traveller.

And the bank indicated in a statement that in accordance with the circular issued by the Central Bank of Syria No. 17/961 AM dated June 1, 2020 regarding the amounts allowed for transfer between governorates accompanied by a traveler, the amount allowed for the amount transferred between governorates has been increased up to 15 million Syrian pounds.

In a statement, the bank indicated that money transfers between the provinces of Damascus, its countryside and Quneitra are excluded from the aforementioned ceiling.
