The scientist who predicted the occurrence of the Turkish-Syrian earthquake 3 days before it hit at dawn last Monday, 55-year-old Dutch researcher Frank Hougerbits, appeared in a YouTube video broadcast yesterday Friday in which he predicted strong aftershocks, as well as talked about the possibility of an earthquake involving Egypt and Lebanon.

Frank Hogrebitz said that the culmination of the “full moon” on February 9-10 will lead to a strong shaking that can reach 6 degrees between February 10 and 12, that is, between today and tomorrow, Sunday, and that the series on the map of the area where the earthquake occurred, aftershocks appear. Last Monday in Syria and Turkey, “seismic activity also appears on the map in the south and southeast, where Lebanon is located, and on the other side Iraq and Iran,” reports what we hear in the video shown.

Regarding the possibility of an earthquake in Egypt and Lebanon, he said: “Yes, because this region is subject to seismic activity, but we cannot be sure, based on seismic activity, whether it will happen next week or in the next five or ten years (. .), since it is impossible to predict the date of an earthquake, we use the position of the Moon and possible climatic fluctuations.

And he continued: “The value in the coming days will be the peak of the Moon (full moon) on February 9-10. We can notice an increase in seismic activity, the strength of which can be from 6.4 to 6.7 degrees, due to the conjunction of the Moon with Jupiter, and this case can be very important. In the worst case, we can observe seismic activity, especially on February 11 and 12, but according to my estimates, the magnitude of this earthquake could be 6 degrees, specifically from 6.4 to 6.7 degrees.
