The Houthi terrorist militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, has acknowledged the deaths of 156 of its fighters, most of them officers, fighting government forces since the end of the UN truce on October 3, 2022.
The Yemeni news agency, which is under the control of the Houthi militia, said that today, Monday, 4 militia fighters out of 10 fighters who fell in January of this year were buried in the capital Sanaa under their control, and they were buried in three batches, all of them are senior officers, of whom one colonel., and of them 3 with the rank of lieutenant colonel, 2 with the rank of major and 4 with the rank of captain, without indicating – as usual – the date and place of death of these ten members.
Notably, the Houthi militia held funerals for 146 of its members from October 3 to December 31, 2022, most of which were in the month of December in which they were held, and according to what was reported in the media associated with it, 59 of its fighters, then October with 49 fighters, then November with 38 fighters, and since the beginning of January, another 10 people have been buried.
According to statistics compiled by the Yemeni Future media platform, most of the dead Houthis have high military ranks, including an officer with the rank of brigade, 2 with the rank of brigadier general, 13 with the rank of colonel, 15 with the rank of lieutenant colonel, 25 with the rank of major, except 68 in the rank of second lieutenant (first and second), and 26 captains, and the rest were assistants.
