The Russian ruble fell against the dollar, the euro and the Chinese yuan today, Monday, to its lowest level since April last year.
By 16:22 Moscow time, the dollar rose by 24 kopecks (the norm = 100 kopecks) to 73.63 rubles.
At the same time, the euro rose by 24 kopecks to 78.69 rubles, and the yuan rose by 3 kopecks to 10.78 rubles, according to the Moscow Exchange.
The volume of circulation of the Chinese currency reached 52.4 billion rubles, the euro – 28.9 billion rubles, the dollar – 55.3 billion rubles.
On the stock market, the ruble index MICEX (main) of the Moscow Exchange rose by 0.1% to 2262.13 points, in contrast to the dollar stock index RTS, which fell by 0.65% to 965.7 points.
