On Thursday, the US Treasury imposed sanctions on the Russian Deputy Prime Minister, the President of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan, the Russian military group Wagner and ship repair companies in Russia.
The US sanctions are linked to Russia’s attack on Ukraine, which began in February last year.
Under the sanctions of the US Department of the Treasury, ship repair companies in Russia fell.
The US Treasury has also classified the Russian Wagner Group as an international criminal group.
Washington has also imposed sanctions on individuals associated with the Wagner group.
