Yesterday, Saturday, bitcoin rose above the $20,000 level for the first time in more than two months.

The market share of the largest cryptocurrency has risen to 40.98% of the total crypto market after rising 7.8% at the time of this writing to $20,853.

The cryptocurrency is up 26.4% from an annual low of $16,496 on January 1st.

Meanwhile, Ether, the currency linked to the ethereum blockchain, surged 5.91% to $1,536.9 on Saturday, adding $85.90 to its previous close.

The market value of cryptocurrencies has reached a total of $975.66 billion, which is close to breaking the $1 trillion barrier again.

On the other hand, the value of cryptocurrency trading has shown a lot of activity as it has increased by 80.2% in the last 24 hours, recording $89 billion worth of transactions.
