Former US President Donald Trump said that Kyiv’s continued financial support is delaying the resolution of the conflict in Ukraine, expressing confidence in his ability to resolve this issue as president in just 24 hours.
Trump added: “I think I can resolve this issue within 24 hours. But to continue pouring in money means postponing a settlement. It delays many things, but also kills more and more people every day… I can resolve this conflict in a day.”
Trump stressed that the conflict in Ukraine “needs to be resolved immediately.”
US President Joe Biden visited the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, during which he met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
During the visit, Biden announced another shipment of critical equipment that Washington will provide to Kyiv, including artillery ammunition, anti-tank systems and air surveillance radars.
