On Wednesday evening, Turkish authorities announced that the head of the Turkish opposition Yenelik/Cooperation Party, Ozturk Yilmaz, was attacked with a knife at his party’s headquarters in Ankara.
Turkish media reported that Ozturk Yilmaz was taken to the hospital for first aid.
The media does not reveal the severity of the injury or the perpetrator of the attack.
Moreover, bloggers and social media activists posted a photo of the head of a Turkish opposition party lying on the ground after a stabbing.
